What is meant by ‘Cinematic’?
The word ‘cinematic’ has two main meanings in my mind. The first one is related to the cinema, which is the art of making and showing films or movies. The second meaning of cinematic is based on the idea of cinema as a powerful and expressive medium of storytelling. It also means having qualities that make something seem like a film or movie, such as drama, suspense, emotion, action and more.
A cinematic style is a way of using these techniques in order to create something that transcends just a mere video and into something far more engaging. As a lifelong lover of cinema I always try to incorporate elements of cinema and those techniques outlined in this definition in making your wedding film.

I always like to use this approach during prep and also in the portraits later on in the day to create those romantic and beautiful Rembrandt esque clips that really add drama to the final film.
